Aberdein Considine Wealth, trading as AC Wealth, has been acquired by Shackleton Advisers, which will significantly expand its presence in Scotland.<\/p>\n
The acquisition adds about \u00a3800 million in assets under management or advice to Shackleton, taking the total in Scotland to \u00a31.3 billion.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Forty employees, including 14 FCA authorised and regulated financial advisers, will switch to the new owner.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
They will operate from offices in Aberdeen, Glasgow and Edinburgh, while local representation will be maintained in Perth and Stirling.<\/p>\n
Shackleton said it will serve its clients in Scotland through two regions: Scotland East, with a principal office in Aberdeen, and Scotland West from a main office in Glasgow. <\/p>\n
Clients will continue to be served by the same advisers and teams. In time, it is expected that AC Wealth clients will draw upon Shackleton\u2019s resources and in-house investment capability and platform.\u00a0<\/p>\n
