Scottish entrepreneur Mark Glasgow has added to his portfolio with the acquisition of Edinburgh video production company Just Shot.<\/p>\n
The Midlothian-based firm covers everything from social media content and advertising to high-profile corporate and commercial events as well as 3D animation, sound design and scriptwriting.<\/p>\n
It has a UK-wide client base including Mercedes Benz UK, Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin and as well as leading car dealerships and automotive brands, creative director Sergiusz Jezewski and his staff also work closely with law firms and trades companies.<\/p>\n
Details of the acquisition remain undisclosed.<\/p>\n
Mr Glasgow, founder of the Edinburgh Boiler Company (EBC) and Energy Training Academy, believes the move will help him establish the marketing agency as a leader in the trades sector.<\/p>\n
The new company will be based in Dalkeith with five members of staff initially, complementing Trade Boss AI, the artificial intelligence platform he launched six months ago to help tradespeople and construction bosses better manage their businesses.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Trade Boss Marketing will operate as a standalone business alongside the platform as Mr Glasgow looks to transform how the trades sector operates.<\/p>\n
Clients will also benefit from business growth coaching from Mr Glasgow, who said: \u201cI have developed a lot of knowledge in building up EBC to a \u00a310m-plus turnover company over the years. But I knew I needed the added expertise and drive that someone like Serge provides to launch a marketing agency like this.<\/p>\n

Mr Jezewski, 20, was born in Lodz, Poland, moving to Edinburgh with his family when he was five years old.<\/p>\n
He established Just Shot in 2021 while studying at Holyrood High School, turning down the chance to study architecture at university to focus on honing his video production skills after completing sixth year.<\/p>\n
