Amazon announced Tuesday that it is hiring more than 300,000 workers across the U.S. for the holiday season.<\/p>\n

The jobs include seasonal, part-time and full-time roles across Amazon’s U.S. core operations network, with new openings expected to be posted weekly from October through December.<\/p>\n

Seasonal employees will earn an average of $20 an hour. Full-time operations workers start at a minimum of $20 an hour, according to the company.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The retail giant also announced an expansion of healthcare benefits.<\/p>\n

Starting Jan. 1, 2027, seasonal employees who work at least 30 hours per week will be eligible for healthcare coverage beginning on their first day of employment.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Plans will start at $5 per week with $5 copays, the company said.<\/p>\n
