Law firm takes Capitol suite + letting at Prime Four – Daily Business

The Capitol: new tenant

Commercial property consultancy Ryden has let a 5,000 sq ft suite to law firm Shepherd & Wedderburn in The Capitol offices in Union Street, Aberdeen.

The letting coincides with a new programme of improvement works launched by the building’s new owner, DS properties.

The landlord is investing capital into creating dedicated “plug-and-play” suites tailored to accommodate occupiers of various sizes.

Renovations include the cleaning and restoration of the Category B building’s 1930s Art Deco exterior. It opened in February 1933 as a theatre and cinema.

In 2016, the property underwent a restoration that married its classic features, including the preserved original Art Deco foyer, with a modern Grade A office expansion.

Ryden and joint letting agents Savills are marketing the final remaining suites. Ryden has also been appointed as the property manager for the building.

Caledonia House letting

Caledonia House

Drum Property Group has secured a letting at Prime Four Business Park in Aberdeen, with CB&I’s Asset Solutions business signing a 10-year lease for Caledonia House and relocating its operations to the park in Q4 2026.

The deal was completed simultaneously with Drum’s re-acquisition of the 103,000 sq ft building, which the company developed before selling in 2012.

The property is currently occupied by Apache North Sea, which will move out at the end of this month.
