Hardies Chartered Surveyors has acquired the Glasgow-based Storrier & Donaldson Quantity Surveying practice.
The acquisition sees Storrier & Donaldson owner Robert Currie join Hardies as consultant partner, with his team relocating to the Glasgow city centre offices of affiliated chartered surveying firms Shepherd and Hardies.
Founded more than 50 years ago, Storrier & Donaldson works across a diverse range of public and private sector projects throughout the UK.
The firm’s public sector portfolio includes hospital ward refurbishments, public libraries, golf courses and major capital framework projects, while its private sector experience ranges from bespoke family homes to large-scale commercial developments.
Douglas Smith, managing partner at Hardies, said: “This acquisition represents another important milestone in our growth strategy.
“By combining our strengths, we will expand the range and scale of projects we can undertake.”
Robert Currie added: “We look forward to continuing to provide robust cost management advice, helping clients and project teams achieve their financial objectives as part of the Hardies business.”
