Home Bargains has been confirmed as the first flagship occupier at a new multi-million-pound mixed-use business park near St Andrews.
West Coast Estates, the Aberdeen-based property development and investment company behind Craigtoun Park, said the discount store will anchor the seven-acre destination.
The business park has planning consent for more than 60,000 sq ft of commercial and employment space.
It is expected to create at least 170 permanent jobs and 100 construction jobs, while giving the local community greater choice, boosting the local economy and generating over £500,000 a year in business rates.
West Coast Estates completed the acquisition of the site earlier this month. It will feature a mix of fully serviced retail, office, and business units.
Home Bargains has more than 600 stores across the UK, employing over 27,000 people, with the nearest store currently more than a 30-minute drive from St Andrews.
